Pterodactyl and Tagged

Pterodactyl and cage

Here is my Pterodactyl and his cage - I mean home =) I used the same bird cage tutorial as before, except I only have one lateral fabric bar/wire as opposed to two. I was specifically requested not to make the pterodactyl "girlie", which I found to be quite difficult. I wanted to dress-up the pterodactyl with eyelashes and more embellishments, but I resisted the temptation and kept spike a man's pterodactyl. All in all, it was a fun project and the little shooga booga I gave it to likes it as well.

Miss Miranda of Petals and Cupcakes has tagged me. (If you haven't checked at Miranda's etsy shop Hair Petals you should. It's full of the most beautiful flower hair accessories that I have ever seen.) So, here's how the tagged thing goes: Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.

*What was I doing ten years ago?
In 1998 I was an exercise therapist at The Egoscue Clinic in Del Mar. I was also attending San Diego State University where I majored in nutrition. I do believe nutrition may be the worlds most boring major.

*What are five (non-work) things on my to-do list for today?
Is there such a thing as non-work things? If so, what is that? OK, OK I'll be serious.
1) Read my Bible
2) Take little ones to swim class
3) Finish pterodactyl cage
4) Eat cake
5) Work out because you just ate cake!

*Five snacks I enjoy
1) Almonds
2) Peanut butter
3) Doves dark chocolate
5) White chocolate pretzels
Now you know why I thought nutrition was boring.

Do you make those birds and cages for a class? I noticed that you mentioned that you were instruced *not* to do something :)

Where in Georgia did you live? I visited Savannah in January and FELL IN LOVE with that town! The weather was perfect and Savannah was so charming and romantic.

I love Edamame as well! I forgot about that one.

P.S. I think nutrition is fun! lol

No, I don't make them for a class. I made the pterodactyl for my little guy who specifically asked me not to make it like a girls pterodactyl =)

I lived in Atlanta. I have been to Savannah as well and I love it there. Very pretty and pleasant.

Oh dear, I did not do job and reply to the tag -- I was immersed in the last week of school. Did you know my class got together and secretly bought me an apron from your shop!! How funny is that?? They bought me a black one with animals and ironic skulls and tulle on the bottom! They were so sneaky -- one of the parents asked me where I got my beautiful other apron you made me, and then they went shopping!

Now that school is out I will try to find time to do the meme.

xo, thanks for the AWESOME present - best teacher gift I ever got!
