New dresses of the Honey Girl sort

The last two dresses are the modified version of the Honey Girl dress pattern (link to how to modify the dress pattern) and the first one is the original pattern. Just in case you're wondering... no, I'm not sleep walking in the first pic =)

The above dresses, along with the Girly and Bitter dress, will be available in my shop this afternoon.

Cheers,
Jamie

I'm also really tempted to buy the dress and apron patterns just to try to make something for me...but i have no experience in making a dress before...kinda worry i wont be able to make anything to wear. >_<

Hope you had a great weekend and love to you!

I spotted this the other week and meant to send you a note saying this looks like your dress without the smocking...

very familiar...very, familiar.

don't you hate that when that happens? and worse, when it's been making the blogging rounds?

Hey Mommyhood! That's so funny you mentioned that, because I just saw that same tute last week. She looks really cute in it.

That stuff only bothers me if it's a direct knock off, but if it inspires a similar look, I'm not that bothered, because I get a lot of my inspirations from other designers.

I've been eyeballing this pattern for a while now. I normally don't buy patterns until the big stores put them on sale. Honey Girl is so cute though!! Your different versions finally pushed me over the edge and I bought it just a few mins ago :) I can't wait to try it!

Thanks! I've been so excited about this dress forever....and now I'm pregnant. Oh well, maybe I'll raise the waist and make maternity modifications...

Congrats Mommy M.D. Actually, shirred dresses would work really well with a swelling belly =) The elastic will stretch with you.

The purple fabric with the bird is so pretty. would you mind sharing which fabric that is?
Thank you so much!

I have no idea why I didn't share that in the first place. The fabric is called Scene and it is designed by Etsuko Furuya for her Echino fabric collection. The fabric is available in my fabric store www.phatfabric.com. Here is the link http://www.phatfabric.com/scinlaecjafa.html

Thanks for asking =)
