Puddle the elf

Puddle the elf

(The white line above her head looks like it's part of her hair but it's not. It's the reflection on the vase)

I made this softy over the weekend. Her name is Puddle and she is an elf. She no longer has her elf like ears because she had them surgically removed. They looked..... demonic. However, she does have elf shoes.

I drafted the pattern myself and I'm pleased with the outcome. I wanted her to be able to sit on my mantel and greet everyone with some holiday cheer. As most of you know, I am a huge Black Apple Doll fan, so I must say that her face and hair is heavily influenced by Black Apple dolls. First, I lightly penciled in her face and then painted it with craft paint. I then used a sharpie (thin point) to apply the eyeliner.

My daughter is smitten by her and my son wants me to make a boy elf. If I do, I'll try to take photos of the process and write up a tutorial with pattern pieces included.

Cheers,

Jamie
