and this is what the patterns look like...

rrrrright...
Here's how it all started. I fell in love with a jumper dress that Amy Karol, of Angry Chicken (see sidebar), made for one of her little ones. She had used a pattern from this book. Feeling overly confident, I too ordered the book. I received the book... looked at the book...put the pattern back in the book and neatly shelved the book.
After a couple of weeks went by, I noticed the book on the shelf and said to myself "what the hey, it's not rocket science... it may be close, but it's technically not." I went ahead and began the project and surprisingly it's not too bad. The directions may be in Japanese but the numbers are in English... yes, that was a joke. I know numbers are universal silly. Here's somewhat of a peek at the jumper. When it is completed I'll do a show and tell.......maybe.

I love the Japanese pattern books, but even looking at your photo of the pattern is enough to give me anxiety! I can't wait to see it finished, that might give me some hope!
I can't wait to finish it!
