The other day I was browsing through Target and came across this pillow by Dwell Studio. It was love at first sight! From the rosette flowers to the color combination, it possessed all that I needed for my bedroom. I tried to walk away, but it kept calling me- beckoning me to take it home. Eventually, I justified the notion of letting it ride along in my cart while I shopped. Every time I looked at it in my cart, I smiled. The next thing I knew I was walking out to my car with the pillow in hand.
It's happy here. We're happy here.
Nightie night!

I'd say this was definitely a good lapse of shopping will power. Love it.
Beautiful pillow. But I must admit, I'm a little bummed. As soon as I saw the pic in your post, I thought—Oh yeah! She's going to show us how to make those fun swirly flowers for pillows of our own!
Daretst I say, a challenge?
Oh I'm sorry to disappoint. I have inspected the flowers and I might give it a try. The flowers appear to have been made as they were machine sewn to the pillow. It looks a bit like acrobatic sewing.
It would make a nice tute =)
Yes, please please please a tutorial! That is such a gorgeous pillow! It makes me think of this fabric, which I have some of: http://www.etsy.com/listing/38742993/jennifer-paganelli-sis-boom-basics
Here's a pillow I made from it: http://comeandseetheseitz.com/2009/10/24/what-a-pillow-can-do/
Umm, I love the dwell line at Target. I compulsively buy things from the Dwell baby section... :)
LOVE the pillow by the way.
@bobbinoggin - I was thinking the same thing! LOL!
Well, at least I know where it can be purchased :-)
That yellow just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
I love the little things in life too. They brighten the day. Pretty pillow and glad it was adopted into a loving home. :)
i saw that pillow in a magazine, I love it! I would totally have to take it home too!
I'm gonna have to buy one of those tomorrow!! Love it!
I'd definitely be happy too, with such an uplifting yellow pillow! You lucky girl!
Very happy and fun!
I wanted to tell you that I finished my little girls' shirred dresses!! The rows weren't nearly as perfect as yours, but after it all gathered up, you couldn't tell. They turned out so cute! Thank you so much for your tutorial. I must have read 6-7 tutorials, but yours made the most sense. :)
-I'd be glad to send you a picture of their dresses if you send me and e-mail address. Mine is ashley.keylor (AT) gmail (dot) com
I'm so happy to hear your shirring worked out! You can send pics to apronstreet (AT) yahoo (dot) com. I also have a flickr group at http://www.flickr.com/groups/prettyditty/. If you have a flickr account feel free to add them to the group.
I look forward to seeing your shirring =)

I love this pillow more than I should. I'm almost in a slight panic. (Only mild internal combustion) I'm doing my bedroom in whites/creams and that "puke-yellow" color (my husband rolls his eyes when I call it that color) I hope you recently purchased this because I NEED IT! I'm going to target today!
Thanks for sharing :)
Beautiful pillow, love the color, it give a sense of freshness and calmness.
I don't know why is happy. but you did a great job with it. In Japan there are some interesting designs. One pillow is a man arm.
Thank you for the post, pretty helpful info.
