New apron and randomness

Picnic full lola apron

Just a quick little post to say "YES, I do still make aprons." I have not abandoned apron making for woodland crafts. However, I am working on a woodland apron made of twigs....just joking =) Actually, I've made a lot of aprons over the past couple of weeks, but they have mostly been gifts for loved ones, like the one above. The Picnic apron (that's her name) is for my daughter's school teacher, whom certainly is a gem. She was my son's teacher as well, and is full of energy, wisdom, and love. The amazing thing about her is that she is a breast cancer survivor (stage 4). What an inspiration! Making the apron for her was more of a blessing to me than for her.

* Very random stuff *

~ As a Christmas gift, I got this neck tie (the grey and black one) for my very difficult to buy for brother. It's from Cyberoptix Tie Lab.

~ If you like Sea Urchins, then this is the etsy store for you.

~ You can make an avatar that looks like you at this site (copperseal led me there).

(i have no idea what the "f" is for, but i really wanted to wear a scarf and the "f" came along with it)

~ Have you ever wanted to link a pdf file, but couldn't (blogger doesn't let you)? Well, I have an answer for that. Go to Scribd, open a free account, and upload your saved pdf file there. Once the document has been created, you will then recieve a link and code to your file, which can then be used on Blogger.

~ Blogging Basics 101 is a great site to answer blogging questions.

~ I have a new obsession.... Clothespin Dolls, and I will show you mine tomorrow :0

~ A funny pic of my brother's band riding Falcor (love the song).

Yes, the teacher you speak of is a true gem. Please give her a hug from me and her former student (my boy). Yur referrals are great as usual.

Lil Urchin said... does this look? The "Happy Face" should give me away and that's about as close as I think I can get. Tried out the toothy grin but it just didn't fit...the BIG red lips are much better.
